Approximately 40 percent of children in developing countries (about 500 million children) suffer from hunger and malnutrition, according to the United Nations.
 
Around 24,000 die every day from hunger and hunger-related causes, most of these under the age of five.

ECHO Worldwide was founded over twenty years ago with a goal of eliminating child hunger on a global scale. The name E.C.H.O. stands for END CHILD HUNGER ORGANIZATION.  ECHO Worldwide is an international non-profit organization, providing aid and assistance to the smallest and most helpless victims of hunger and poverty – children.

ECHO’S ‘First Response Team’, seek to be first on the scene during crises of poverty and natural disasters, providing food, medicine and other necessities, as well as restoring hope and dignity to the world’s most vulnerable.
