Thank you for you generous support of ECHO Worldwide. Electronic delivery of stock shares is the most secure and expedient delivery process available and provides efficient internal control as well as cost savings. However, you may also transfer certificates directly. To help you facilitate a gift of stock, please use the following instructions.

Step 1: INITIATE TRANSFER
There are two common methods of gifting Securities to ECHO Worldwide.  The first is Electronic transfer through which your broker can transfer shares using the ECHO DTC number.  The other is physically mailing the paper certificates to the ECHO Treasury Department.  Either method is acceptable, but it is necessary for you to contact your broker to initiate the transfer.  Click here to download a sample letter for your use.

Step 3: NOTIFICATION OF DONOR INTENT
Regardless of the method chosen to deliver a gift of stock, the donor or the transferring broker must provide the following information, for audit and acknowledgement purposes.

• Donor’s name and complete address
• Name and number of securities transferred
• Name of brokerage house shares will be transferred to (Morgan Stanley)
• Date of the transfer
• Specific ECHO program to which gift should be directed, (if any)

United Airlines
Mileage Plus members can make donations to ECHO through United Airline’s Mileage Plus Charity program.  The minimum mileage requirement for a donation is 1,000 miles and all donated miles will be used strictly for disaster and emergency child-care related travel.  All donations should be made though the Mileage Plus Service Center by calling 1-800-421-4655.  Get more information here:

Due to airline restrictions, miles donated to ECHO can only be used by ECHO staff involved in disaster and relief projects. GIFT OF LIFE INSURANCE
Some of our supporters no longer need their life insurance that was purchased years ago to provide for children or other family members, and donate the policy to ECHO Worldwide.

CHARITABLE LEAD TRUST
Individuals with very large estates can use a charitable lead trust to benefit ECHO Worldwide and pass principal to family members with little or no tax penalty.

GIFTS OF RETIREMENT PLANS
Your IRA assets will be transferred to a charitable remainder trust; the trust will provide life income to the beneficiary, and then an eventual gift to ECHO Worldwide.
